Become Light As A Feather
Although I might be sharing articles less frequently with you since I am ‘a traveller’, it’s my desire that the essence touches you in some way.
Travelling is wonderful and exciting but it also requires me to adapt, let go and be creative all of the time. It’s a process nobody can ever teach you, not even the most admired teacher or sexiest plant medicine. It’s a life altering path that offers me deeper insights and even more peace.
It was in 2016 that I wrote a short book with the title: “The 7 Principles of Happy Living” and chapter 4 was about: “Least Effort”, my favourite and often least understood topic. It’s a principle we can directly learn from nature, but today I like to provide you with a more scientific approach.
You might have heard before that the harder you want something, the further it gets pushed away. Treating your goals like ‘no big deal’ works better than obsessing over them. Those who have practiced heart coherence using a heart rhythm monitor know exactly what I’m talking about.
When we assign high importance to our goals or intentions, it will create ‘excess potential’, a form of mental and emotional pressure that leads to resistance and obstacles. By lowering importance, acting calmly, and adjusting our response to problems, we can move toward versions of life where things flow more easily. A calm state improves focus and decision-making, while desperation leads to stress and mistakes. What you chase emotionally creates tension, but what you allow comes closer. Reality does not change, but how you move within it does. This sounds deep, I know, so let me explain that a bit more.

Reality is like a movie with infinite versions already filmed, and we can learn to ‘slide’ between them by changing our inner state. Treating goals or intentions like ‘no big deal’ makes them manifest faster than ‘wanting’ ever could. It’s your inner state that determines which track you experience, but I realize that it’s a fundamental change in how we interact with reality.
When you begin to see that reality exists as infinite parallel tracks, each representing a different version of events that could unfold, it’s then your inner state (your thoughts, emotions, and energy) that determines which track you experience. You are constantly tuning in to different versions of reality. The potential problem is however that when you assign high importance to something, you create energetic turbulence that actually pushes you away from what you want. The solution is to lower the importance, and you naturally slide into better timelines where your desires already exist. It’s like effortlessly switching from one tv channel to another—they’re always broadcasting but you will only experience the one you tune into.
Here’s how you can approach this process:
Step 1: Lower the importance. Release the pressure by treating your desire as ‘nice to have’ rather than ‘must have’ by trusting the universal process.
Step 2: Act and feel as if it’s already arranged. Move through your day knowing the universe has already handled it for you (as it has).
Step 3: Slide between realities. When so called obstacles appear, mentally step sideways into a parallel reality where they don’t exist (change tv channel).
The core principle is that these steps work together to remove resistance and align your energy with reality you want to experience.
The energy mechanics of manifestation is really important to understand. Desperation blocks you because desperation and attachment create energetic resistance, as frequency, like trying to swim upstream against a powerful current. On the other hand, when you treat your goal as a ’no big deal’, you remove the excess potential that creates obstacles. You then allow your energy to become neutral and flowing, like water finding its natural path downhill as it effortlessly runs around the rocks. This neutral state allows you to slide naturally into the reality track where your desire already exists. No struggle required. In more scientific terms, this is called: Harmonic Resonance. It’s how two tuning forks, tuned to the same frequency, both resonate when you only touch the one.

Be light as a feather
When you pretend that you don’t care while secretly being attached, use this as another technique to force results, or give up action entirely, you are still coming from a place of fearful trying. What if you take a deep breath and see yourself as a feather and feel the lightness in your being. What if you begin to trust the magnificence of who you really are and take inspired action from relaxation and feel yourself slide into realities that already exist, because you choose your track by consciously choosing your inner state. You will then become motivated by love. It’s my personal experience that the more you play with this and experience the effects, the easier and more fun it becomes. It will just be ‘a given’ that it works this way, and that’s the moment you have changed your relationship with life and therefore your reality has changed.
